Melissa M. Perkins practices in the general areas of commercial transactions, business law and probate. Ms. Perkins' specific areas of practice include: formation of for-profit and non-profit corporations, commercial litigation, loan workouts, creditors'
rights, bankruptcy, real estate foreclosures and forfeiture actions.

Ms. Perkins graduated from Albion College in 1999 with a B.A. degree in Political Science and Women's Studies with a concentration in Public Policy. She earned her law degree at Wayne State University in 2002 where she was a member of Moot Court.
