William R. Huffman

William R. Huffman is a partner of the firm. His practice includes the representation of clients in business, real estate and commercial transitions, litigation and dispute resolution, including with respect to commercial loan documentation, work outs, and enforcement; creditors' rights (including collection and bankruptcy matters); equipment, materials and product acquisition, supply and distribution transactions; real estate development and construction matters (including negotiation and drafting of construction contracts); real estate and personal property acquisitions, leasing and transfers; business formation and organizational matters (for both for profit and nonprofit entities); agent, consultant, and employee contractual matters; and general commercial transaction and litigation matters. Mr. Huffman has also handled worker’s compensation matters, as well as, probate matters, estate planning and matters involving the elderly and disabled. Mr. Huffman represents a variety of clients ranging from large corporations to individuals. His representation of large corporations includes the coordination of high-profile multi-state litigation and discovery matters. 


Mr. Huffman graduated from the University of Michigan in 1991 with a B.A. degree in Economics. He obtained his law degree in 1994 from Mississippi College School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Huffman received a Masters of Tax Law degree from Wayne State University School of Law in 1998.
